A series of Flash Dance Events will occur around the country. These are where John and fellow Rainbow Freedom Fighters perform spontaneous dance performances around various town and city centres. During these John will hand out business cards containing a URL. After a set time, the Leader’s Guards will arrive – forcing the Fighters to scatter. This will also be filmed, and the videos spread across the web – with the same URL as on the business cards.
This URL will be a website showing a History of the Colour Wars. It will also contain a series of hidden rabbit holes showing – videos of John’s backstory, other websites – A Rainbow Fighters call to Arms, A Hacked Government Website with the Leader’s Mission and his targets.
It will contain information for the audience to create their own dances and flash events – and to post these to generate interest in the Rainbow Cause. Each posting will be given a unique code – this will be the first number needed to play the ARG.
The ARG missions are to crack the Government’s security, destroy John and his Gang’s identity records, disrupt the Government’s plans for their next attack – and to find a GPS link to where the next meeting will take place.
After the cracking of each puzzle – a graphic novel is received as a level reward, containing additional story and clues. Final pay-off is an invite to the final Flash Dance location. Here the live audience will be shown into a cinema – and on the screen they will see a live filmed version of “Fight or Flight”, whilst this is simultaneously streamed across the web.
Using emails / mobile numbers / social media pages – a short form video will be spread around showing a meeting between Loose Lips and Becky. Here she opens Becky’s eyes to what the world is actually like – and how it once was. It is a visual mash-up of colour and slogans, mixed with images of death and destruction from the Colour Wars. At the end of this video, a new URL link is shown.
On visiting this website we find more information about Becky and her Mother – there is also a hidden link to a series of codes that can be used to free John. Alongside this will be Becky’s Call to Arms – where Barcoded Information appears in towns and cities, in magazines and newspapers. On these barcodes is stored information – about the Freedom Fighters, about The Leader and about the Codes that need to be cracked. This information can be read via an iPhone or Android phone.
The community must now race to find the right codes – found across sites on the Web, in the online Graphic Novel (showing the history of the Colour Wars) and on the Barcodes.
Inputting the right codes on Becky’s website – means that the location of John’s prison is revealed, and also the entry codes needed to gain entry. Once all codes have been found, Becky releases a series of 30sec viral films – these contain time and date clues to when Becky, Loose Lips and the Rainbow Freedom Fighters will attack the camp. These films will be spread across Social Media sites and be sent via Mobile to the community. Those who crack the code will be invited to a series of screenings showing live the attack on the prison camp – “Freedom Awoken”. These screenings will conclude with a live Rainbow Freedom Fighters celebration including music, dances, bands. The film of the attack will also be live streamed over the web.
By now, a large online community will – hopefully – have grown around the world of Colour Bleed. Using this community, Loose Lips organises a series of Freedom Dances in the real world. This is where both Loose Lips & the Screaming DJ will hold secret live happenings – with DJ’s. bands, dance clashes and live VJs. In these events members of the Rainbow Freedom Fighters will hand out promotional material (clothing / colour sprays / badges). Each item of these will have a series of Augmented Reality symbols – that when held up in front of a webcam shows short animations of John and Becky’s call to arms – “We must have a colourful destruction!”
There will also be a mobile number, with a URL link. Those who phone this number will be told a time and date when the Final Battle against the Leader must take place – if not then the whole world will be grey forever more. However the venue is a closely guarded secret, and is defended by a legion of Ultimate Guards.
They must now go to the URL to discover an interactive Children’s story – complete with child’s drawings / audio clips / short animations and a crossword puzzle. The community must read through the Children’s Story to discover the Secret Codes of entry, the Map of Discovery and solve the final crossword puzzle.
Once this information has been discovered, then it’ll be spread by the Rainbow Freedom Fighters – across Social Media, through Viral Mobile & Web clips, in Forums and Chat Rooms and so on.
Those who crack the code will be invited to a series of screenings showing live the attack on the Leader’s Base 1 in – “Colour Re-Boot”. These screenings will conclude with a live Rainbow Freedom Fighters celebration including music, dances, bands.
The film of the attack will also be live streamed over the web.
